Hiroic Ventures

A small holding company for thoughtful things.

We build software and hardware that bridge the divide between the digital and the analog — small, well-made things that help people live in a way where technology is an enabler rather than a distraction.

Pocket Oracle, a yellow e-paper device showing the Nine of Cups

Pocket Oracle

A little oracle that fits in your pocket. Every day it greets you with a card to sit with — tarot, I Ching, or runes — on a quiet e-paper screen. No app, no notifications, no screen glow.

Capture for macOS

Capture

A macOS app that fixes the bottleneck in your second brain. Hit ⌥C from anywhere on your Mac and a thought lands in your Obsidian vault before you can lose it.

NoSnoop, a small pocket device with a green radar screen showing Meta glasses nearby

NoSnoop

A pocket radar for camera glasses. NoSnoop listens for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi signals that Meta smart glasses and similar camera wearables give off, and plays a gentle chime when a pair turns up nearby. No app, no account, and nothing it hears ever leaves the device.

VinylHead, a framed colour e-paper display showing album art and notes about the record playing

VinylHead

A colour e-paper display that listens to your turntable and shows what’s playing: the album art, the song, and a few paragraphs about the record. It’s wired into the turntable, never the room, and it looks like a printed page rather than a glowing screen.
